History Is The Root Of The Future.

Admittedly, we take a little pride in our company history:

  • In 1919, Rütgers was founded as a wholesaler of electrical and household appliances in Mannheim.

  • In 1927, Rütgers opened its department for refrigeration with after-sales service.

  • 1959: International manufacturers of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment like Frigidaire and Carrier appointed Rütgers their sole agent for the Rhine-Neckar area and the South-West of Germany.

  • Since 1994, Rütgers has been a distributor of McQuay International.

  • In 1997/98, Rütgers formed a merger with Aircool and expanded its network of branch offices all over Germany.
